We wish to bring to your attention that Horizon NJ Health will be changing EDI vendors effective April 1, 2016. HNJH will be working directly with TriZetto Clearinghouse. Please see the attached letters. Although HNJH may have sent notices to Providers (2/29/16 and 3/14/16) concerning this change; we have learned that not all Providers actually received them.
Therefore, we have brought this to HNJH’s attention and consequently they have requested TriZetto contact us directly. Upon discussion with the representative from TriZetto the following is the outcome:
- Providers can continue to transmit HNJH claims to Emedeon if they prefer.
- Emedeon will utilize their business arrangement with a company called, Capario who will then transmit them to HNJH.
- It would be preferred that Providers register up with TriZetto to transmit HNJH claims.
We suggest that if you utilize Emedeon as your preferred clearing house that you contact them and discuss this change. Please confirm with them that you would expect no delays and that there are no changes with the process of transmitting.
